Melania Trump Unveils Unfortunate 2020 White House Christmas Decorations
She might have been better off just not calling attention to them, but for some reason Melania Trump thought it was a good idea Monday morning tweet out a video of her strolling among this year’s White House Christmas decorations.
“During this special time of the year, I am delighted to share “America the Beautiful” and pay tribute to the majesty of our great Nation. Together, we celebrate this land we are all proud to call home.”

The video starts off with the soon-to-be-former first lady peering over the railing on a staircase landing, surveying a hallway crammed with decorated Christmas trees. As in previous years’ videos strikes a variety of poses in several different rooms, looking like she’s seeing the holiday decorations for the first time.
That’s all that was needed for the hashtag #MelaniaHatesChristmas to blast off. Thousands of comments on her video, predictably, remind everyone of her now famous comments to former friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff about how she really feels about the holiday: “I’m working … my a** off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f*** about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?”
There’s even a video reminder.

Then there are decorations themselves, which some felt are even creepier than the all red trees and even weirder than the all-white branches. Many said that some of the flower containers looked like urns that belong in a funeral home.
