Leading PAC Unveils Creative New Ad Blasting Pennsylvania GOP Senate Candidate for Being a Fraud

MeidasTouch, a leading pro-democracy media network, and Super PAC released a powerful new video ad that hits Republican Pennsylvania Senate Candidate, Dr. Mehmet Oz, for being a fraud.

The digital ad, titled “Wizard of Lies”, uses imagery from the iconic “Wizard of Oz” movie to highlight how the former reality TV doctor conned viewers by knowingly pushing discredited medication with significant side effects, flip-flopped on critical issues like immigration, and is a longtime resident of New Jersey. The ad, which already has over 1 million views on Twitter and is the number one trending topic on the social media site, will also be accompanied by a corresponding billboard campaign.

“It’s time to take a look at the man behind the curtain. While Dr. Oz may have convinced some folks he is a friendly TV doctor, the reality is that the man spent his career swindling unsuspecting viewers by peddling debunked medication. Now, the longtime fraudster and New Jersey resident has moved to Pennsylvania and started talking like a MAGA extremist to become the Republican nominee for Senate. This unfettered corruption and shameless flip-flopping might’ve been comical if the stakes weren’t so dire.

The people of Pennsylvania need to know the reprehensible things Dr. Oz has done, and our ad unveils the real truth behind this corrupt, aristocratic charlatan. We are excited to double down on our investments in key battleground states to continue exposing Dr. Oz and other MAGA extremists as the unparalleled and irredeemable cancer on America they are. Pennsylvania voters won’t buy his lies — let’s send Dr. Oz back home to New Jersey.”
