MEIDASTOUCH RELEASES HARD-HITTING TV AD BLASTING TRUMP FOR 200K COVID DEATHS IN DUO OF SWING STATES

Leading Progressive Super PAC Will Place Six-Figure Buy Behind The Spots in North Carolina and Nevada

LOS ANGELES, CA — Continuing its targeted and wide-ranging nationwide effort in swing states, today MeidasTouch, a progressive Super PAC, released a powerful new video ad hitting Donald Trump for his failed COVID response with a six-figure TV buy in North Carolina and Nevada.

The 60-second ad, titled “Trump Lied 200k Died” highlights the timeline of how Donald Trump knew about the unique and extraordinary risks of the coronavirus at the start of 2020, but suppressed the information and intentionally mislead the public, leading to over 200,000 Americans dead from the virus.

In continuing their barrage of anti-Trump ads on television, Brett Meiselas, one of the founders of the PAC, remarked:

“The facts are clear: Donald Trump’s intentional effort to suppress critical information about the disproportionate dangers of COVID-19 has now killed over 200,000 Americans. The families of the deceased Americans will never be the same, and the President is directly responsible.

We are excited to double down on our investments in providing air cover in key battleground states to continue exposing Donald Trump as an unparalleled and irredeemable cancer on America.”

Today’s announcement comes after the PAC recently surpassed $1 million raised through grassroots contributions, now in excess of $1.3 million.

MeidasTouch is a progressive Democratic PAC founded by three brothers, all lifelong Democrats, Ben Meiselas (35), Brett Meiselas (30), and Jordan Meiselas (27)  during the quarantine.  Ben is an accomplished civil rights litigator, entertainment dealmaker, and nonprofit leader.
