Meidas Touch Welcomes Trump to CPAC With an Airplane Message

The Republican Party is holding its most significant event of the year, CPAC, down in Florida this weekend. On Saturday, the star of the party, Donald Trump, arrived at the conference.

And while the GOP is having its yearly grievance fest, Russia is conducting an unlawful invasion of Ukraine. It is difficult not to think of the connection between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. Meidas Touch had a special reminder for those attendees who may have forgotten about for former President’s frequent praise for the Russian authoritarian leader.
Earlier this week, Trump complimented Putin on the invasion. The former President told Buck Sexton when he saw news of the attack; he thought, “This is genius. And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. That’s the strongest peace force… We could use that on our southern border. That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more Army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re going to keep the peace all right.”
Trump continued, “Here’s a guy who’s very savvy … I know him very well. Very, very well. By the way, this never would have happened with us. Had I been in office, not even thinkable. This would never have happened.”
Trump just called Putin a “genius” and suggested the US do the same on the Mexican border.
Should put to rest all those “what would Trump have done” questions. https://t.co/jNL3vrmehF pic.twitter.com/RJqFMFn3oB
