New Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany has been different from her predecessor Stephanie Grisham. Unlike Grisham, who never held a presser, McEnany has already spoken with the White House press corp twice.

The reviews of her performance so far have been mixed. Unsurprisingly, Fox & Friends Ainsley Earnhardt gushed about her Wednesday briefing. Meghan McCain was less generous and blasted McEnany for her claim that not everyone needs to be tested for COVID-19.
On Wednesday, the Press Secretary told reporters that mass testing ins’t necessary in order to reopen the economy.
Sunny Hostin said of the comments, “So it’s obviously important enough for everyone in the White House and surrounding the president to be tested for the coronavirus, but it’s not important to the press secretary and to the administration for Americans to be tested. That tells me she is just spinning lies to the American people rather than being honest…She is just lying to the American people like everyone else.”
McCain agreed and claimed that McEnany was hired, “because she’s very good at spinning propaganda.”
The View’s most Conservative pundit continued, “I echo what Sunny is saying. If the tests aren’t important, why is all of the White House and allegedly most of the press corps getting these testings before they are in front of the president? I would like to go back to work. I know you would, and I would be comfortable doing that if we all had the capacity to get tested.”
