The latest CPAC seems to be about the same thing the others are; victimhood. Those in charge of the show have an exhibit about the poor treatment of the January 6th prisoners. And Matt Schlapp wants to push the narrative that the insurrectionists were no different than the Black Lives Matter protestors from the summer of 2020.

Schlapp even claims that he went undercover during one protest in DC and he claims that he got the idea from fellow wingnut Laura Ingraham.
The doughy Republican strategist says that he wore a mask and camouflage. Schlapp also claims that he wore padding underneath his costume.
“And I have to say, all you could smell was drugs,” he said. “There were no cops. It was complete pandemonium. It was like a scene from a movie, you know, Escape From New York or one of these end-of-the-world things.”

Schlapp continued by saying that several policemen and secret service agents were injured by the unruly mob. He told the audience, “You’ll never read or hear about that.”
