Donald Trump always made it quite clear who his favorite child was. Once he became president, Trump had Don Jr. and Eric take control of the Trump Organization. Daughter Ivanka, though, moved to Washington DC to become a key adviser. And her husband Jared was given a number of important roles as well.
New York investigators are likely to look into all of the children during their investigation into the Trump Organization. And there will be pressure on all of them to flip. Cousin Mary Trump recently opined that Ivanka is the most likely to do do.
The psychologist said during an appearance on The New Abnormal podcast:
“If there are two sets of books for Allen, there are two sets of books for other people. And I think we’re also going to find in these millions of pages of documents, there will be more evidence. So either they’re not solely going to be relying on Allen Weisselberg to flip because there’s documentary evidence of Donald’s direct wrongdoing, or there will be other people who will be more willing to flip than Allen, and I think among those might well indeed be my cousins.”
Mary Trump then moved onto Ivanka. “She’s much less likely to stay loyal than Allen Weisselberg,” she said. “As counterintuitive as this might sound, I think Ivanka has, one, more to lose and, two, more to hang onto. Her husband’s family is legitimately very wealthy.”
