Marjorie Taylor Jackson, the Q-Anon-touting Republican candidate running unopposed to represent the 14th district of Georgia in the U.S. House, has been firing insults at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Representative for the 14th District of New York. After Greene leveled an attack on the Congresswoman’s intelligence, AOC fired back to point out that when saying someone else isn’t smart, it’s a good idea to proofread. Now the Georgia hopeful is lashing out, mocking Ocasio-Cortez’s ability to spell, and her New York inexperience with garbage disposals.
On Sunday morning, Marjorie Taylor Greene attacked Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter, saying that AOC puts an end to “dumb blonde” jokes. It has been a trope on the right to attack AOC’s intelligence, often with memes and videos that attribute false quotes to her. Her employment history, working and supporting herself, is often a subject of mockery for right-wing commentators.
As a blonde woman, I would like to take a moment to thank Congresswoman @AOC.
She has single handily put an end to all “dumb blonde” jokes.
Blondes everywhere appreciate your service and your sacrifice!

Ocasio-Cortez took this quite lightly, firing back to correct Greene’s spelling. “You seem to have some trouble spelling your own insults correctly.”
Don’t worry Mrs. Greene, I completely understand why you need to swing + miss at my intellect to make yourself feel better.
You seem to have some trouble spelling your own insults correctly.
Next time try “single-handedly,” it’ll work better.
Good luck writing legislation! https://t.co/y33JXVfxDc

Greene responded quickly, claiming that “nobody cares” about her error, and comparing her career history, owning a business with her husband — “creating 1000s of jobs, $250 million in revenue in 11 different states” — to Ocasio-Cortez’s “socialist boot camp” — apparently a reference to a whole 48 hours of AOC’s life, when, according to the New York Post, she participated in a training course in 2017 to prepare her for political office, including antagonistic interviews.
.@AOC please … no one cares about typos.
While you were growing up in socialist boot camp, I was creating 1000s of jobs, $250 million in revenue in 11 different states.
Your Marxist GND will destroy millions of jobs.
And I’m going to put it through the paper shredder. https://t.co/ahNICgGHvQ

However, hours later it seems that AOC’s response was still on Greene’s mind, as she lashed out again, this time retweeting the child Ocasio-Cortez impersonator whose videos poke fun at liberal positions on climate change and other issues. The more recent posts made in her name mock survivors of sexual abuse, and falsely associate it with Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Elementary-aged Ava Martinez, according to Newsweek, has several adults helping her write the scripts, and her mother operates her social media accounts. In this post, she, or a parent on her behalf, challenges AOC to a spelling contest.

Greene retweeted this, saying that her money is on the kid, referencing AOC’s inexperience with garbage disposals in New York City, where they’re rare, and not permitted in businesses, as Snopes described last year, and suggesting that a love of America — which she attaches to herself and Martinez, but not Ocasio-Cortez — would help win spelling contests. (She also offers the child a job.)
My money is on @RealMiniAOC.
She’s a bright young lady who loves freedom and America just like I do.
Plus Mini AOC knows how to use a garbage disposal unlike @AOC…

Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t deigned to respond to the latest round of attack tweets.
