Donald Trump received the star back in January of 2007 for his starring role in the TV show “The Apprentice”. Since then it has been vandalized multiple times prior to this morning. In 2016 during Trump’s campaign, a man destroyed it with a sledgehammer, and then again in 2016 another vandal decided to spray paint it.
According to reports, the suspect has turned himself into Beverly Hills police this morning. His identity has not been disclosed. The last vandal who smashed Trump’s star was sentenced to three years of probation and 20 days of community service. He was also ordered by a court to pay $4,400 in damages.
