LV Mayor Pro Tem Michelle Fiore Responds To Backlash: ‘We Have A Pandering Idiot As The Chairman’
Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Michele Fiore is firing back at her own Republican Party for criticizing comments she allegedly made at their convention on June 6. The Clark County Republican Party released a response to Fiore’s allegedly “racially charged comments” which caused her party to issue a rebuke of her. According to LAS VEGAS (KTNV) Fiore is not backing down from the critics in her own party. The party did not repeat or confirm what Fiore said in their statement.
Fiore has been in trouble before for her comments, so it was totally expected when there was an immediate backlash:
You're a failure. And a racist. Go crawl under a rock.

Fiore however, did not hold back in a tweet on Wednesday saying, “My 1st amendment rights are under attack. SHOW THE VIDEO OF THE UNCUT VERSION OF MY SPEECH!” she went on to say, “I am truly sorry that we have a pandering idiot as the chairman of the Clark County Republican Party (CCRP).”
Fiore stated that she now uses a swear jar in her office. She added, “if anyone in the CCRP is offended by the word ‘ass’ of my New York Style, my apologies.” Fiore pulled no punches. You can read the entire statement above. Fiore’s alleged comments were exposed by a popular black conservative commentator. Fiore allegedly said, ‘If there’s a job opening and my white ass is more qualified than somebody’s black ass, then my white ass should get the job.’”
The reactions are still coming in from everywhere:
We already got the salient point, @voteFiore :
You're an ass.
(New York wants nothing to do with you, or your "style")

The controversy comes at a bad time for the Republican Party which is already seen as racist by racial minorities, and as antiracism protests rage across the country the GOP cannot afford the appearance of racism as we get closer to November.
