Lindsey Graham Wants Capitol Police to Whack Any Trump Protester Who Gets Out of Line This Weekend

Following the Trump incited insurrection on January 6th, there were plenty of Republican lawmakers saying the right things. Lindsey Graham was one of them. He said from the floor of the senate that he and Trump had a “hell of a journey”, but he’s “out.”

Graham, of course, was not out in any way. Just weeks after making those statements the South Carolina senator was on the golf course with the former president.

Now that another Trump supporter demonstration is planned for this weekend, GOP lawmakers are again saying the right things, including Graham.

“They need to take a firm line, buddy,” the Trump sychopant said. “If anybody gets out of line, they need to whack ’em.”

Other Republicans tried to downplay the threat of the event. “There are a lot of clearly angry people who want to march on the Capitol,” said Senator John Thune. “I haven’t talked to a single Republican up here in the Senate that has encouraged or enabled anything like that.”

Trump, not surprisingly, threw his support behind the protesters. He released a statement which read, “Our hearts and minds are with the people being persecuted so unfairly relating to the January 6th protest concerning the Rigged Presidential Election. In addition to everything else, it has proven conclusively that we are a two-tiered system of justice.”
