Lindsey Graham Lauds Speech From Outstanding Person Jill Biden
Lindsey Graham has been forever altered by the presidency of Donald Trump. He once ferociously fought against the idea that Trump could be the standard bearer for his Republican party. Just a few short years later, he’s become an attack dog for the president and regularly plays golf with him.
And that relationship with Donald Trump has broken up many of his lifelong friendships. Among them, a long friendship with Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. Still, Graham saw fit, Tuesday night, to laud the speech given by another former friend, Dr. Jill Biden.
The South Carolina senator said of the former Second Lady’s speech, “Tonight, Jill Biden did a very good job representing herself and Joe in the causes they believe in. She’s an outstanding person who has led a consequential life.”

Both Bidens have talked about the breakdown in their friendship with Graham. Jill Biden said in February, “Well, you know, Lindsey — I don’t know what happened to Lindsey. And we used to be great friends and friends with John McCain, I mean, we traveled together with the Foreign Relations Committee. We’ve had dinner, you know, and now he’s changed.”
Dr. Biden continued, “You know, it’s hard when you, I don’t know, consider somebody a friend and then they’ve said so many things, so many negative things. And it’s — that’s been a little hurtful.”
The former Vice President talked about Graham’s involvement into an investigation of his son Hunter last November. “I am disappointed, and quite frankly I’m angered, by the fact — he knows me; he knows my son; he knows there’s nothing to this.”
