However, instead of backing down, Wood is calling for backup. He wants his fans to help by fighting against the Georgia outcome, “swamping” the phone lines of legislators, showing up in person to shout them down when they speak, and generally “ris[ing] up” to “go to war” against lawmakers who have accepted the outcome of the 2020 election.
A series — a mere sampling — of Wood’s posts on Telegram from Thursday show a pattern in which he encourages others to keep fighting against the affirmed outcome of the 2020 election.
“Until the residents of the State of Georgia rise up and demand change, there will NOT be a future election in Georgia with integrity,” Wood declares, continuing to ignore that the 2020 election has been described as one of the most secure in U.S. history.
He doesn’t stop at advising them to “rise up” though — he has more specific instructions on how to do so.
He’s advising election deniers to gather in like-minded groups, and attend events where their elected representatives — the ones who aren’t disputing the 2020 outcome — are speaking, and drown them out, shouting election propaganda and accusing them of treason.
Then rally the Patriots in your area to attend those public appearances and DROWN them out with your voices, shouting “Communists” or “Traitor” or “Fix It Now.”
What’s the stated goal?
Then work to get them out of government or prevent them from serving in government.
Many should go to jail or worse for treason and crimes against humanity. A smaller group should simply resign and hide in their basements for the rest of their lives or until they publicly repent and seek forgiveness.
Finally, Wood advises that a group of like-minded “patriots” could carry out an effective harassment campaign, overloading the email addresses, phone lines, and text systems until the onslaught “shuts them down.
We’ve seen, in recent weeks and months, what disinformation campaigns can do, from parents showing up to threaten school administrators over mask rules to the attempted insurrection on January 6th. Lin Wood hasn’t gone so far as to suggest any illegal activity, and he reiterates multiple times that lawful methods should be used.
Still, he’s once again working to convince followers that if they just fight hard enough, they can still overturn the 2020 election — and giving them a set of targets for that fight.
