Lauren Boebert’s Joint Session Stunt Blows Up in Her Lap

President Joe Biden’s Joint Address to Congress was met with mostly overwhelming approval, with 85% of Americans giving the President props for his speech. Of course, every President will have their detractors, but this President is following the worst act in American history, so his haters come for him with the maturity level of a fourth grade bully who’s been left back twice.

Instead of simply not showing up for the socially distanced speech where masks were mandatory, freshman Rep. Lauren Boebert (Q-CO) decided to try to use the historic moment where two women sat behind the President for the first time ever to make it about her. Despite never making a big deal about the border crisis while her Dear Leader was pretending to run things, Boebert is suddenly passionate about the children separated from their parents because she can blame Joe Biden.

WASHINGTON, DC – APRIL 28: U.S. President Joe Biden removes his face mask before addressing a joint session of Congress as Vice President Kamala Harris (L) and Speaker of the House U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) look on in the House chamber of the U.S. Capitol April 28, 2021 in Washington, DC. On the eve of his 100th day in office, Biden spoke about his plan to revive America’s economy and health as it continues to recover from a devastating pandemic. He delivered his speech before 200 invited lawmakers and other government officials instead of the normal 1600 guests because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Boebert acted petulantly throughout the President’s speech, visibly shaking her head in disgust when he made such controversial statements like, “Let’s lower prescription drug prices.”

But she did her best attention whoring when she covered herself with a silver blanket similar to the ones given out in the detention centers. She was clearly trying to make some kind of a point, but instead, Twitter used it to cover her in shame.
