In a Sunday tweet, Trump ally Laura Loomer accused former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of ripping off Donald Trump's donors.
Kennedy, who comes from a famed Democratic family, began his 2024 campaign as a Democrat before running as a third-party candidate. He was offered power from Donald Trump in exchange for his support and has since become a Republican surrogate.
Loomer is a controversial figure seen around Trump less and less, and she's not happy about RFK Jr.'s involvement with the campaign. She says he's stealing from the former President's campaign.
"Wow," she began in a Twitter post, "the RFK Jr. fundraising scam gets even worse. He says he's raising money to get Trump back into the White House. Not only does the money not go to Trump and instead goes toward paying off the debt from RFK Jr.'s DEMOCRAT Presidential campaign, but donations over $6,600 go to the 'Kennedy Victory Fund,' which funnels money into the the Libertarian Party to support their candidate for President... which is not Donald Trump."
The post from the Controversial Trump surrogate continued, "Nowhere in RFK JR's joint fundraising committee does it say that any of the money is going toward Trump."
There are few things more ironic than someone being accused of grifting the country's biggest grifter, but that is exactly what Kennedy Jr. is being accused of.
