Once upon a time, Lara Logan was the darling of the international media. The South African blonde grabbed as much attention for her looks as for her news stories, but then she went and ruined her career by fabricating information for a “60 Minutes” piece.
Logan then began a spectacular fall from grace that has landed her smack in the middle of conspiracy theories about COVID-19 and pushing hateful Antisemitic tropes by comparing Dr. Anthony Fauci to a notorious Nazi. “He represents Josef Mengele … the Nazi doctor who did experiments on Jews during the Second World War in the concentration camps,” she said on Fox News Primetime. “And I am talking about people all across the world are saying this. Because of the response from COVID. What it has done to countries everywhere. What it has done to civil liberties. The suicide rates. The poverty.”
Apparently, Logan missed the same memo Marjorie Taylor Greene shredded after her visit to the Holocaust Museum did nothing to stop her hateful Holocaust comparisons to the vaccines.
Powerful interview with an Auschwitz survivor who says Fox host Lara Logan's comparison of Fauci to a Nazi "Angel of Death" doctor who performed medical experiments at the death camp is "disgusting."
"There is absolutely zero comparison." pic.twitter.com/USDWRszSIC

There has been plenty of outrage, of course. Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, told The Washington Post’s Jeremy Barr, “there’s absolutely no comparison between mask mandates, vaccine requirements, and other covid-19 mitigation efforts to what happened to Jews during the Holocaust. … This includes making outlandish and offensive analogies suggesting that somehow Dr. Anthony Fauci is akin to Nazi war criminal Josef Mengele, known for his gruesome medical experiments on concentration camp prisoners.” The American Jewish Committee tweeted, “Utterly shameful. Josef Mengele earned his nickname by performing deadly and inhumane medical experiments on prisoners of the Holocaust, including children.
Josef Mengele earned his nickname by performing deadly and inhumane medical experiments on prisoners of the Holocaust, including children. @LaraLogan, there is no comparing the hell these victims went through to public health measures.
An apology is needed. https://t.co/eYDPT6KiEK

The Auschwitz-Birkenau State Memorial issued a statement after Logan’s refusal to apologize. But instead of being a normal human and learning from her a giant and egregiously antisemitic mistake, Logan dug in further.
Lara Logan is digging in–presumably with the backing of senior Fox executives–attacking Fauci with links to conspiracy websites that obsess about Freemasons and call HIV "entirely fake." pic.twitter.com/rB7ijB2iiv

And then, Logan really showed how far she’s sunk by retweeting an antisemitic bot (watch out for that Bunchanumbers family, they’re the worst programmed bots EVER) and then blocking the Auschwitz Memorial. How very Eva Braun of you, Lara!
Lara Logan RTd Aunt Esther Bunchanumbers 🙄 https://t.co/1V18eCwLD0

Naturally, our friends at Meidas Touch made sure Twitter knew to let Fox News know about Logan’s hate speech and antisemitic behavior, which will probably get her a raise instead of getting her fired. (See also: Tucker Carlson).
Dear Fox News,
When your hosts are blocking the Auschwitz Memorial, you may be on the wrong side of the issues. https://t.co/9rYJjOyMHS

Congratulations to Rupert and Lachlan Murodch. Lara Logan, one of your Fox hosts, just blocked the Auschwitz Museum.
And Paul Ryan, Fox board member — take a bow. You deserve some credit here as well. https://t.co/s5sQSdwE6B

As much as I despise @CNN for being Fox News-lite, at least they're holding Chris Cuomo responsible, while Lara Logan should've been fired for her Mengele comments, but she's still employed by Fox News.

Lara Logan comparing Dr. Fauci to Josef Mengele is so despicable that I am opting for no joke. Not funny. Not worth making it funny. Logan used to be a journalist. I don't know what the fuck you call what she is now. I know it is wrong. Mengele did sick experiments on my people.
