Kyle Rittenhouse is Suing to Get His Gun Back, Wants Make Money off His Notoriety With NFTs

In November of 2021, Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges. After meeting Donald Trump down in Mar-a-Lago and interviewed with Tucker Carlson. Since then, Rittenhouse has largely faded from the public eye.

The teen, though, has resurfaced this week to attempt to get back both his gun and the clothing he wore on that fateful night.

NPR reports:

“Rittenhouse’s attorney, Mark Richards, filed a motion Jan. 19 asking prosecutors to return Rittenhouse’s rifle, his ammunition, his face mask and other clothing he was wearing the night of the shooting to him. Richards and David Hancock, a spokesman for Rittenhouse, said last week that Rittenhouse wants to destroy the rifle and throw the rest of the items away so nothing can be used as a political symbol or trophy celebrating the shooting.”

At the time of the shooting, Rittenhouse was too young to own the weapon used in the shooting. It had been purchased from him by a friend.

It also looks like Rittenhouse might be looking to make some money off his notoriety with NFTs. The teen tweeted yesterday, “Looking at NFT’s … dropping my first one soon, anyone have any suggestions?!” After massive negative reaction, Rittenhouse continued, “I’m just learning about NFT’s & judging from the comments, I see I still have a lot to learn. Thanks guys!”
