Sidney Powell, whose outlandish conspiracy theories about how the presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump got her fired from Trump’s team, has released the kraken in Michigan.
Powell filed a lawsuit claiming a witness said there was something fishy in how votes were tallied for President-elect Joe Biden in Edison County, Michigan. Her claim reads, “In another case for Edison County, MI, Vice President Biden received more than 100% of the votes at 5:59 EST on November 4, 2020 and again he received 99.61% of the votes at 2:23 PM EST on November 5, 2020. These distributions are cause for concern and indicate fraud.”
The only problem is that there is no Edison County in the state of Michigan. It doesn’t exist. There’s not even an Edison Township in Michigan, although there is one in nearby Minnesota and another in New Jersey.
As you might expect, reaction to the latest kraken release has been harsh. George Conway tweeted, “So incredibly diabolical of Hugo Chavez and the Democrats to create a fake county to get fake votes.”

Trump lawyer Sidney Powell’s Michigan court filing claimed, “in Edison County, MI… @JoeBiden received more than 100% of the votes… on 11/4/2020… and received 99.61% of the votes… on 2020. These distributions… indicate fraud.”

The deep state erased a whole county. That's how deep this thing goes. https://t.co/0qHbXSoAO4

One helpful soul took a page from the Trump playbook of geography and conveniently used a sharpie to update the state map of counties, positioning the fictitious jurisdiction just southeast of Detroit, in Lake Erie.

The Michigan lawsuit is the perfect follow-up to Powell’s crack legal work last week in which she filed a lawsuit in Georgia with three different spellings of the word “district” and got flagged on Twitter for soliciting money to continue whatever it is she’s doing on behalf of Trump.
