Kellyanne Conway To Leave White House at the End of the Month

Kellyanne Conway has been with the President as long as anyone. Most of the early figures in the Trump campaign either left office or were fired years ago. Conway, however, has stood by the President since the beginning.

The special adviser, though, will not make it through Trump’s first term. Conway is experiencing some family drama as her daughter, Claudia, is seeking to become emancipated from her parents. The Trump adviser has now announced that she will be leaving the White House at the end of August.

Conway’s husband, George, also announced that he will be stepping back from his role with The Lincoln Project and leaving social media. Kellyanne said in a statement:

“We disagree about plenty, but we are united on what matters most: the kids. Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year in the middle school and high school that will be conducted remotely from home for at least a few months. As millions of parents nationwide know, kids ‘doing school from home’ requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times. This is completely my choice and my voice. In time, I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama.”

Claudia Conway also discussed the family’s issues on Twitter, writing, “This is becoming way too much so i am taking a mental health break from social media. See y’all soon. Thank you for the love and support. No hate to my parents please.”
