Judge in Roger Stone Case Rips Tucker Carlson During Tuesday’s Session

Since the day Roger Stone was arrested, Tucker Carlson has attempted to defend him. The Fox News host was angered by the way that the FBI treated the Trump adviser during his arrest. He also called for Donald Trump to immediately pardon Stone back in February of 2019.

The pardon hasn’t come yet and the adviser was recently sentenced to prison time. During his Monday broadcast, Carlson went after the foreperson of the jury, saying she was anti-Trump and that the case was tainted. On Tuesday, the judge in the case, Amy Berman-Jackson fired back at the Fox News host.

Berman-Jackson mentioned the host by name during Tuesday’s court session. She said, “Tucker Carlson accused the foreperson of the jury of being an anti-Trump zealot…Any attempts to invade the privacy of the jurors or to harass or intimidate them is completely antithetical to our system of justice.”

CNN Legal Analyst Renato Mariotti saluted the Judge, tweeting, “Thank goodness that Judge Jackson is defending the integrity of our jury system. If jurors believe that their identities could be revealed and they could be publicly attacked, no one will want to serve on a jury anymore.”

The President, on the other hand, was not swayed at all by Berman-Jackson’s words. He wrote on Tuesday, “There has rarely been a juror so tainted as the forewoman in the Roger Stone case. Look at her background. She never revealed her hatred of “Trump” and Stone. She was totally biased, as is the judge. Roger wasn’t even working on my campaign. Miscarriage of justice. Sad to watch!”
