Joe Scarborough: Republicans Who Think Democracy is Rigged Must Hate America [VIDEO]

More than 6 months after the election, Republicans in a number of states are still fighting the results. In Michigan on Wednesday, the fight came to an end. Not only did an investigation by Michigan Republicans find no fraud in the 2020 results, the committee also blasted the conspiracy theories associated with the election arguments.

During the Thursday episode of Morning Joe, the crew discussed the Michigan GOP findings. Joe Scarborough noted that Republicans who think democracy is rigged must hate America.

The host began, “They studied it in depth and they actually were quite critical of the liars, quite critical of the conspiracy theorists. They actually put out a report that said ‘it is all a lie. There was no widespread voting fraud in the state of Michigan, everything was run pretty straight.'”

Scarborough continued, “It’s absolute insanity that we’re talking about it in the greatest country in the world. But there are actually people who are talking about that, and want to depart from 240 years of American exceptionalism. It’s crazy.”

The host finished his thoughts, “We get from that point to where a majority of Republicans believe that American democracy is rigged,” Scarborough lamented. “That’s just depressing that they’re that stupid and that they hate America that much.”
