Joe Biden Trolls President With Trump’s Own Words: “I Approve This Message”
In a campaign rally in North Carolina Saturday night, Donald Trump told his fans that if he loses the election, they’ll never hear from him again. Now, Joe Biden has taken that clip and added “I approve this message.”
The president was telling a story about Joe Biden, in which he claims that someone once told him Biden was the dumbest person in the U.S. Senate. “If I lose to him, I don’t know what I’m going to do,” Trump said. “You’ll never see me again. I’ll never talk to you again.”

Trump said something similar in 2016, before losing the popular vote to Hillary CLinton by almost 3 million, prompting responses like this one that turned up in the Sacramento Bee: “If only we could be so lucky. The world does not need Trump TV. ”
This time around, Joe Biden joined in on the trolling. He shared a short version of the video clip on his own social media pages, adding “I’m Joe Biden and I approve this message,” to suggest that it’s a campaign ad to promote a Biden win.

The message mirrors what some of Joe Biden’s supporters have been saying about Trump’s recent messages. The incumbent president recently warned that Biden is too boring to be president, and that news media ratings will be damaged by a Biden presidency. However, the responses made it clear that not everyone is enjoying the constant chaos of Trump in office — many people responded to say that they’d love to have a president who wasn’t constantly in the news for something shocking or upsetting.
