According to the survey of 1,001 registered voters, which was conducted between June 19th and June 22nd, 56 percent of respondents – up from 54 percent two months ago – are happy with Biden’s presidency as it enters its sixth month.

Biden’s numbers are even more impressive when it comes to his management of domestic issues.

Sixty-four percent of those surveyed approve of Biden’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, which thanks to widespread and speedy vaccinations has significantly waned since former President Donald Trump left office in January. That score includes 90 percent of Democrats and 40 percent of Republicans – no small feat in today’s hyper-polarized political environment.

But the poll also found that more than half the country harbors extreme skepticism over the true origins of the coronavirus.

“A 60 percent majority believes COVID-19 was created by scientists and leaked from a lab in China,” Fox News noted. “That’s nearly double the 31 percent who think the pandemic started naturally. That majority is largely comprised of 79 percent of Republicans and 58 percent of independents who blame a lab leak.  Forty-one percent of Democrats agree, while 46 percent believe the virus evolved from nature.”

Additionally, “half of voters (50 percent) believe coronavirus has permanently changed the way Americans live, while 42 percent think the change is temporary.  Just 6 percent think the pandemic didn’t really change things much at all,” the survey found, per Fox. “One of the biggest changes has been more people working from home — and 70 percent think that’s a good thing.”
