Jimmy Kimmel Shares Things That Lasted Longer Than The FBI’s Kavanaugh Investigation

Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday night used his opening monologue to mock the FBI’s incredibly quick and non-thorough investigation into claims brought against SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

To make his point, Kimmel pointed to various things “that have lasted longer” than the FBI’s attempts to bring about the truth for Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Deborah Ramirez, and Julie Swetnick.

“When all was said and finished, the White House said they found no corroborating evidence of sexual assault,” Kimmel told his viewers. “It’s amazing how much you won’t find when you don’t look for it, it really is.”

Kimmel then shared a list of items that included former White House press secretary Anthony’s Scaramucci’s 11-day job, cold sores, and Kim Kardashian’s marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries.

“They do a more thorough investigation of the contestants on ‘The Bachelor’ than they did for the Supreme Court,” Kimmel added.

Kimmel then took a shot at the 10 people the FBI interviewed as part of the investigation. “I’ve interviewed more people this week than the FBI has,” the late night talk show host proclaimed.

Kimmel also compared the one hour of review time given to Senators to browsing social media. Noting that each Senator only had seconds with the report he said, “That’s like scrolling through Instagram, that’s not much.”
