Jim Jordan Supports Trump’s Boycott of Goodyear, a Company Based in his Home State of Ohio
It was no surprise to see Donald Trump call for a boycott of Goodyear. In the past, the President has called for boycott’s of other companies like Harley Davidson or Macys. Of course, most Republicans refused to speak out against Trump’s attack on an American manufacturer.
And Jim Jordan, a Trump sycophant, would never to think to speak out against something the President said, even if it affects people in his own state. Despite the fact that Goodyear employs 64,000 people in his home state, the Ohio congressman said that he supports Trump’s actions.
Trump tweeted earlier this week, “Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES – They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!).”

When asked about the tweet, Jordan told Cleveland.com, “It’s Goodyear that’s involved in trying to cancel all the people who would like to wear ‘Blue Lives Matter’ masks or hats or T-shirts, or would like to wear ‘Make America Great’ hats T-shirts or masks. Why are people trying to cancel one point of view out there, and it’s always the conservative point of view?”
Jordan even penned an editorial continuing, “In today’s world, opposing views aren’t challenged or debated, they’re censored by the left – the left that control Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and virtually all of the Democrats in Congress. And every day, this same ‘cancel-culture’ left is looking for someone new to target.”
