Jim Jordan Projects the Evils of the GOP Onto the Democrats in Unhinged Newsmax Interview

house members ordered to wear masks

Despite the increase in domestic terrorism from right-wing militia groups such as the Proud Boys and Patriot Front, Donald Trump’s remaining base continues to insist the country’s rise in homespun violence is the fault of the Democrats. Dear Leader has taught them well in the ways of distraction and projection language (traits handed down to him by both his biological father and his adopted one) and the last conservative outlets who’ll host them are the perfect places to roll out the latest MAGA manipulation of the truth.

As Trump’s remaining faithful in Congress keep getting either removed from committees, censured, or they just retire because they know bad stuff is coming down the pike for them, it’s getting harder for him to find surrogates who are willing to go out and whine on his behalf. This brings us to Jim Jordan, who makes Peter Lorre look like a strapping leading man. Jordan is working overtime to evade any subpoenas from the January 6th Select Committee (didja talk to Trump that day, Gymbo, didja?), so he decided it was time to get extra super racist on Newsmax, because that’s also conduct befitting a member of Congress who’s seriously benefitting from gerrymandering. Okay, Gym.

WASHINGTON, DC – JULY 21: (L-R) House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) attend a news conference on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to reject two of Leader McCarthy’s selected members from serving on the committee investigating the January 6th riots on July 21, 2021 in Washington, DC. Speaker Pelosi announced she would be rejecting Rep. Banks and Rep. Jordan’s assignment to the committee. (Photo by Kevin Dietsch/Getty Images)

Jordan showed up on Sebastian “Twitter Instablocker” Gorka’s Newsmax “show” and said the “radical left” presents a danger to the country like the “evils” of Nazi Germany and slavery. Okay, loser. “Here we are three generations later and the assault is from the radical left,” he whined. “We have to step forward and do our part like previous generations of Americans have done. I think we’re up to the task.”

“Every third generation in this country has had to do something big,” Jordan speed-whined. “You think about the Founders and what they did when they declared why we’re going to be an independent country, what they had to overcome, the greatest military in the world. They did it.”

The Founders would look at Jim Jordan and wonder how that guy is somehow representing the government they created, because this isn’t really what they intended.
