Jim Gaffigan on Trump Friend Lou Holtz: F*ck Him For What He Said About Joe Biden

As a legendary coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Lou Holtz is very popular among Catholics. He is also a Conservative and friend of Donald Trump.

Soon before the election, Trump utilized the former coach to attack Joe Biden’s religion. After Holtz called the Democrat a “Catholic in name only,” Trump rewarded him with the Medal of Freedom.

The whole situation irritated another prominent Catholic. Comedian Jim Gaffigan recently ripped into Holtz, saying “f*ck him” over what he said about Biden.

Gaffigan made the comments during an appearance on Al Franken’s podcast. “During the convention, I was seeing all these lies working,” Gaffigan said. “The people where I’m from in a small town in the Midwest, I’m from the rustbelt, that were kind of like ethnically Catholic that were seeing a Nun or Lu Holtz saying, ‘Biden was a bad Catholic.’ I knew it was a lie. I knew people who had common sense knew it was a lie. I wanted to go on record that this is obviously bullsh*t.”

The comedian continued, “I grew up going to Notre Dame games. Lou Holtz is a childhood hero of mine. But the fact he would be this pawn, you know what, f*ck Lou Holtz.”
