Jenna Ellis, Last Lawyer Standing on Team Trump, Reportedly Has COVID
Donald Trump and his campaign have been telling supporters for weeks that their legal team would overturn the election. It is hard to do so, however without lawyers. Most of the prominent firms representing Trump dropped out early after a wave of negative press.
That left the elite strike force of Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis. Powell was fired due to her increasingly unhinged conspiracy theories. Giuliani was diagnosed with COVID over the weekend and is now recuperating in a Maryland hospital. And the last lawyer standing, Jenna Ellis, has been diagnosed with COVID as well.
Ellis was in the news just yesterday. She had told Fox Business’ Charles Payne that it is God’s will to have her overturn the election.
But any legal efforts are now going to have to take a backseat to Ellis’ recovery. Axios’ Jonathan Swan tweeted, “Three senior White House officials told Axios they had been informed of Ellis’ diagnosis. Asked repeatedly whether she wanted to deny our reporting that she has COVID and had informed the White House of this fact, Ellis did not reply.”

Ellis was also apparently at a White House Christmas on Friday. Jennifer Jacobs from Bloomberg notes, “White House aides have been abuzz for a couple days about Jenna Ellis, who was at the senior staff Christmas party on Friday night.”
This is a still developing story and Ellis has not responded to requests for comment.
