Jeb Bush and Karl Rove Blast Trump Over QAnon Reply
Back in early 2015, Jeb Bush was the favorite to become the Republican nominee for the Presidency. Then Donald Trump happened. The Trump buzzsaw didn’t spare Bush. He frequently mocked and embarrased the former Florida governor who ended up leaving the race early.
Despite the battles with the current president, Bush has remained largely silent as Trump has wreaked havoc on the country. But Trump’s refusal to disavow QAnon seemed to be the last straw for the prominent Republican. Both Jeb Bush and Karl Rove blasted the President on Wednesday for his answer to a question about the conspiracy theorist group.
During yesterday’s presser, Trump was pressed on QAnon. He answered, “I’ve heard these are people that love our country. So I don’t know really anything about it other than they do supposedly like me.”
Trump is asked to shed light on his thoughts about about the lunatic QAnon conspiracy theory. Instead of denouncing it, he says, "I understand they like me very much, which I appreciate."

This prompted Bush to share a tweet about the incident and write, “Why in the world would the President not kick Q’anon supporters’ butts? Nut jobs, rascists, haters have no place in either Party.”

Another Republican with ties to the Bushes also took issue with Trump’s refusal to condemn the group. During an interview on Fox News, former GWB adviser Karl Rove said, “Big mistake. This is a group of nuts and kooks and he oughta disavow ’em. It’s just ridiculous. Disavow ’em, get done with it.”
