Though Jeanine Pirro — “Judge Jeanine” on Fox News — has mocked Joe Biden for wearing masks, and even claimed that masks are ‘dehumanizing,’ she has also shared photos of herself wearing a mask when out in public. Donald Trump’s fan base, and Judge Jeanine’s fan base, don’t like it at all.
Jeanine Pirro railed against masks in July, as documented by Media Matters For America. She mocked Joe Biden’s wearing of masks, and said that masks are intended to dehumanize and hide identities — not to protect.
I think it’s hysterical when [Biden] and his wife come out together and they’re wearing their masks…What is the point of the mask? The point of the mask is to basically kind of dehumanize, it’s to frighten people. You don’t know who’s behind the mask. It’s to give people cover, it’s exactly what the anarchists and the protesters need. It strikes fear, there is something going on.
Fox News’ Pirro comes out firmly against masks: “What is the point of the mask? The point of the mask is to basically kinda dehumanize. It’s to frighten people…It’s exactly what the anarchists and the protesters need…There are all kinds of subliminal messages to that mask.” pic.twitter.com/15yKeHenrr

However, she has appeared in public numerous times wearing masks, and posted photos of herself in masks on social media.
When she does, followers of her account attack.
“Take the bloody liberal mind control mask off if you want conservatives to take you seriously,” says one fan.
Another declares, “Disappointed to see you wearing a face diaper judge!”
In response to a mask branded with her show title, a viewer complained, “Are you kidding!? Now you’re selling a Slave Mask!? Take it off and stand up to the mask tyranny! Are you going to push “justice vaccines” on us next!?”
When Pirro posted a photo, near the end of September, of herself and others in masks, tagging department store brands in her post, someone with a ‘Trump 2020’ profile photo asked, “Why are y’all wearing masks? Please don’t drink the [Kool-aid].”
On all Pirro’s masked posts, fans call the mask a ‘face diaper’ and demand that she remove it.
While Pirro has sent mixed messages — mocking and disparaging mask-wearing, yet sharing photos of herself in protective cloth face coverings — behind the scenes, she clearly recognizes that protective equipment matters — according to the New York Times, she personally contacted Jared Kushner’s COVID-19 task force repeatedly until she obtained 100k masks for a particular hospital.
Despite Pirro’s clear off-camera recognition that masks matter, it doesn’t seem that her viewers are getting that message — and they just get angry when they catch her using one.
