Jeanine Pirro: Students Asking For Debt Relief Are Lazy and Should ‘Get a Job’

In 2006, Jeanine Pirro attempted to run for a New York Senate seat against Hillary Clinton. She dropped out of that race, however, to run for Attorney General. She lost that race to Andrew Cuomo. And after her losing bid, Pirro failed to pay back $600,000 in loans to her vendors.

During today’s episode of The Five, the panel discussed Joe Biden extending the student loan freeze until September. And despite her past, Pirro had quite an opinion on the student’s being helped by this freeze.
Speaking directly to the camera, the former judge ranted:
“Here’s the bottom line. You have a contract. You have a contract with the person who loaned you the money. If you can’t pay it, that’s your problem. Get a job like everyone else. You want to do a favor for people? I have an idea. Why don’t you do a favor for people like veterans who are committing suicide, who don’t have a home to live in? And that we have to rely on the great organizations like Tunnel to Towers to make these smart homes for veterans.
And then we’ve got senior citizens who are living on a fixed income when inflation is higher than it’s been in 40 years. So these lazy kids wanna have their–wanna have their loans canceled? Nonsense! Pay your darn loan, get a job, and be quiet!”
Jeanine Pirro rages against people with student loans looking for forgiveness:
"If you can’t pay it, that's your problem! … Pay your darn loan, get a job, and be quiet!
Pirro, meanwhile, completely stiffed her campaign vendors out of nearly $600,000.https://t.co/KptjP4Bavp pic.twitter.com/nOCWXj1tAQ
