James Carvile: There's a Chance Kamala Can Beat Trump by 5 Percentage Points

During an appearance on Ari Melber's show on Tuesday, James Carville claimed there is a better chance that Kamala Harris beats Trump by 5 points than that Trump wins by 1.5%.

It wasn't that long ago when it looked like Joe Biden was on track to lose the election to Trump. However, things have turned on their head since Kamala Harris took over the ticket, and she has emerged as the favorite.

James Carville, who made some of the strongest calls for Biden to exit the race sees how well things are going for Harris and made a strong prediction about her campaign when sitting with Melber.

The longtime Democratic strategist told the MSNBC host, "You know, I hate to make predictions, but I will say this right now, there's a better chance that Harris wins by five than Trump wins by one and a half."

After Melber expressed surprise, Carville continued:

"Let me repeat that. A better chance that Harris wins by five than Trump wins by one and a half. But remember, the quants tell me that the Wassermans and the McCoins of the world say you got the Democrats have to win a popular vote by two and a half to three million. So that's not is that that comes in a caveat. I'm not saying that she's going to win by five or he's going to win by one and a half. But I think that's the range that we're in right now. I got to say it."
