Jake Tapper Calls Out QAnon Kayleigh McEnany

With no job and nothing better to do, Kayleigh McEnany decided to live tweet Joe Biden’s Town Hall last night. The former Trump Press Secretary ended her tweet storm with a joke about Biden saying he prefers children to adults.

It wasn’t actually a joke, though, according to Jake Tapper. The CNN anchor claimed that the comments were a shout-out to the QAnon faction of the Republican Party.

McEnany had written last night, “Signing off with a final notable quote from Joe Biden during his town hall this evening: “Everyone knows I love kids better than people.”

Tapper responded by reporting, “From a former WH colleague of McEnany’s: ‘This is 100% meant to stir up the qanon crowd. Awful.'”

During the summer, McEnany denied that Donald Trump even knew what QAnon was. She told reporters, “”The media talks a lot about this so-called QAnon. I’ve never heard the president mention it. I talk to him oftentimes 10 times a day. Not once have I heard him mention this group. The media can focus on QAnon, but this president is focused on the American people.”

And McEnany also responded to Tapper’s tweet, writing, “I tweeted this revealing, bizarre quote from Joe Biden that underscores his horrific pro-choice, anti-child policies that have dehumanized life (Mexico City policy etc.) cc:@jaketapper your source should put her name on the record if she claims to know the intent of my tweets.”
