From Sean Spicer’s first day at the lectern, it was clear that Donald Trump’s press secretaries weren’t going to operate like their predecessors. Next came the combative Sarah Huckabee Sanders. After her was Stephanie Grisham, who never held one press conference. The last was Kayleigh McEnany, who promised to never lie to the press.

During a Thursday appearance on Laura Ingraham’s show, Kellyanne Conway acted as if there was never any controversy surrounding the Trump press shop. The former special adviser claimed that the Biden White House has a “fact problem.”
Conway told the host, “You know, Laura, I like to say Democrats don’t have — this administration doesn’t have a messaging problem, they have a fact problem.”

Of course, it was Conway herself who once tried to argue, that the Trump White House wasn’t lying, it was just utilizing alternative facts. She told Chuck Todd in 2017, “Don’t be so overly dramatic about it, Chuck. They’re saying it’s a falsehood and our press secretary, Sean Spicer, gave alternative facts to that.”
