I-PAC Unveils #Justice: Powerful Ad Hitting Perdue and Loeffler for Embrace of Bigotry
Georgia’s Only Muslim PAC Continues Campaign to Elect Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff
ATLANTA, GA — In a continuation of their efforts to mobilize Georgia’s Muslim voters for the January 5th Senate runoffs, today I-PAC, an organization committed to strengthening the political representation of Muslim Americans, launched a hard-hitting new video ad hammering Georgia’s Senators for their embrace of Donald Trump’s Islamophobia.
“#Justice” highlights Senator Perdue and Loeffler’s enthusiastic embrace of Donald Trump’s countless attempts to dismantle the rights of Muslims, contrasted with the compassion and humanity embodied by Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
See the video #Justice, below:
The PAC, which is led by President Nabilah Islam, is the only organization in the state of Georgia dedicated to turning out Muslim voters in support of Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
Reacting to the release of the dynamic new ad, I-PAC President Nabilah Islam remarked:
“We know that Georgia Muslims are a critical voting bloc. We could be the deciding voice in this historic election with over 65,000 Muslim voters and only 12,000 voters who flipped Georgia blue. We need Muslim voters more than ever! It’s time to organize. We can only win together.”
A native daughter of Gwinnett County, Georgia, Nabilah has spent her entire career fighting for change in Georgia and across the south. Nabilah worked for Jason Carter’s Gubernatorial Campaign in 2014, served as Hillary Clinton’s Dep. Southern States Finance Director in 2016, The Democratic National Committee’s Southern States Finance Director in 2018, and most recently ran a historic campaign for Congress in Georgia’s 7th district. Nabilah is committed to building electoral power that is reflective of our country’s rich diversity and values and now serves as a Senior Political Strategist to several local and national organizations.
I-PAC is committed to mobilizing the Georgia Muslim community to the polls for the Jan 5th runoff. We are working to elect Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff to the U.S. Senate.
The stakes could not be higher. We have an opportunity to replace both David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler who have both unabashedly embraced Donald Trump’s Islamaphobic and xenophobic rhetoric. Georgians deserve representation that sees everyone equally and representation that will uplift and empower our communities.
