Huge RNC Purchase Helps Trump Jr’s New Book Become Bestseller

This week, Donald Trump Jr. celebrated the release of his new book, Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us. The book has become a runaway hit and is currently the number 5 book on Amazon’s list of best sellers.

The new hardcover, however,  had some help on it’s way up the Amazon charts. According to Associated Press reporter, Zeke Miller, the RNC has bought up a large stock of the books and is giving them as gifts for campaign donations.

Miller shared a copy of a letter sent to Republican donors. In return for a contribution of $50 or more, conservatives can receive a signed copy of Trump Jr’s book.

The reporter explained, “The RNC is giving away signed Donald Trump Jr. books to donors. (This is a tactic that helps boost reported sales).”

The President also gave the book quite a boost via his Twitter feed earlier this week. Trump Sr. told his followers, “My son, Donald Trump Jr., is coming out with a new book, “Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us” – available tomorrow, November 5th! A great new book that I highly recommend for ALL to read. Go order it today!”

While the book has positive reviews on Amazon, some critics have not been as kind. In a negative review for The Guardian, Ed Pilkington and Martin Pengelly wrote that the tome, “reveals its author to be every bit as devoted to partisan trolling, childish insults and grudge-holding as his father in the Oval Office. Even the title, Triggered, is designed to make the veins on the foreheads of liberals pulsate.”
