“He Can’t Even Afford Hair Dye” Watch Seth Meyers Mock Rudy Giuliani Over Dominion Lawsuit
In the months after the election, Donald Trump’s “elite strike force” of lawyers presented his legal challenge to courts. The lawyers, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Joe DeGenova and Rudy Giuliani essentially just made wild claims that were not backed by any kind of evidence. Not surprisingly, their efforts failed.
And now the lawyers are facing recourse for their actions. Earlier this month, Dominion Voting Systems sued Powell over her wild claims about fraud and Hugo Chavez. And on Monday, the same company targeted Rudy Giuliani suing him for $1.3 billion. This news brought plenty of mockery from Seth Meyers.
The NBC host began, “Good thing he’s a vampire because he’ll have to spend the rest of his life working it off. He doesn’t have any money, remember how he couldn’t afford hair dye and just rubbed typewriter ribbon his head?”
Meyers then moved on to blasting the Republicans who have refused to stand up to Trump. He told his audience, “The Republican party has learned nothing and still has not changed. It’s still the party that elected Donald trump and stood by him as he attempted to foment sedition.”
Giuliani is clearly worried about his legal problems. He said on Monday, “[the case] is another act of intimidation by the hate-filled left-wing to wipe out and censor the exercise of free speech, as well as the ability of lawyers to defend clients vigorously. As such, we will investigate a counter-suit against them for violating these Constitutional rights.”
