A Charity Event
Malcolm encountered Denise while attending a philanthropic gathering in Houston, Texas. He was there as a visitor, while she was part of the team responsible for setting it up.
The event had attracted a giant group of people and ended up being bustling. Malcolm made the decision to separate himself for a small amount of time to get some open air in the central area. A few moments of air would unexpectedly become something that would shift his life without end.
A Beautiful Sight
Malcolm had not gone far from the event before he encountered a stunning woman. Her deep brown eyes and blushed cheeks atop her sharp cheekbones made a lasting impression on him.
She had a slender figure, and Malcolm was irresistibly drawn to her stare. He deemed her to be the most gorgeous female he had ever beheld, and her grin caused his pulse to quicken.
The One For Him
Malcolm had a huge grin on his face as he thought of the occasion and uttered, “My emotions ran wild when I observed her beam." He had no clue who this woman was, yet he realized that she had taken control of all of him.
He confessed that he never thought much about destiny and finding a true love, but when he gazed at her, he could not reject the fact that she was the perfect one for him. "I could not depart without being sure I would meet her again," he stated.
The Start
He was so thrilled when she agreed to give him her contact information. Soon thereafter, they embarked on their first outing together. Unbeknownst to him, the path ahead was full of challenges.

At last, Denise voiced her thoughts and indicated that she had something to present. She realized that the person she was facing was gentle and diligent, and had a funny side. She couldn't help but feel a pull of attraction to him.
She was aware of how her relationships fell apart when her dates met her sister, Mara. She had taken her lesson to heart and was not going to let herself be hurt again.
Change Of Plans
Malcolm was astonished when he noticed her getting ready to go and pondered what would become of the appointment he had arranged. Still, he assisted her with her jacket and escorted her to the office. She could tell he was anxious as he annulled their dinner and stepped outside.
Denise hailed a taxi which drove them to her entrance, and they got out. She gazed at the big house in front of her and didn't extend an invitation to Malcolm to go in.
Confusing Situation
Malcolm stood beside her, perplexed. "What are we doing here?" he questioned. He observed as Denise attempted to articulate the words to describe everything.
It pained him to observe her like this, and he offered her a comforting hand. “I want you to understand that I'm not going anywhere, no matter what,” he declared. When she glanced his way again, he noticed the tears in her eyes. He would have never anticipated Denise to act in the way she did after that.

Denise studied him for a few moments. Could he be telling the truth? His answers surprised her. But, if anything were to develop between them, he would need to meet Mara first. She was her world. "I don't have a problem with that," she declared.
Seeing Mara
Malcolm ventured into Denise's dwelling and, as she had said, he found her younger sibling Mara in her bed, unwell. As the season of summer came to an end, Mara had taken a turn for the worse and had not been able to restore her condition.
She dozed off when Denise showed him to her, so they didn't communicate that evening. Nonetheless, their connection would grow into something he never anticipated.
Date Night: New And Improved
Denise was more tranquil after allowing Malcolm to be acquainted with Mara. She expressed her regret for wrecking the evening and proposed if he desired to produce some treats in the kitchen and watch a film in the sitting room.

The assembly slowly dissipated as he proclaimed his promises to Mara, assuring her that he would look after her, always lend an ear to her stories, and take her fishing. Mara responded in kind, and the congregation erupted in elation when the pastor announced them as the best of buddies. But the best was yet to come.
The First Dance
After Malcolm and Denise declared their loving promises to each other and were lawfully wed, Malcolm and Mara began their first dance. His entire life had been spent without a brother or sister to make him feel complete.
He had the most amazing sister and companion joyfully twirling around with him. He glanced at Denise, who was weeping at the main table. She gave him a slight nod, and he realized that he had brought her immense joy that day.
The Happiest Ending Ever
The wedding day concluded gracefully. Malcolm and Denise then departed for their honeymoon before quickly coming back home. It should be noted that they reside near Mara's house.
Whenever possible, the young duo visits Mara in order to spend time with her. Mara also makes frequent stops by their place and it is almost impossible to tell them apart.
