In one of the most laughable moments since Donald Trump was elected as the next President of the United States, a conservative commentator on CNN claimed that it was rude of Democrats to question Trump’s presidential legitimacy.
Ben Ferguson left Poppy Harlow stunned when he attacked Florida Democratic Rep. John Lewis‘s description of president-elect Donald Trump as an “illegitimate president.”
“I can’t imagine the fallout, the backfire that you would have if a Republican ever implied that about Barack Obama or Bill Clinton or JFK or anyone else for that matter,” he continued.
“Ben, Ben, Ben,” Harlow interrupted. “That’s exactly what many Republicans did, including [Trump] for years questioning the legitimacy of the first black president.”
Donald Trump for years claimed that President Barack Obama was a Kenyan-born socialist without a birth certification. Trump would go on to become the biggest and most vocal supporter of the birther movement.
“The president-elect did that to the sitting president for years,” Harlow said.

We have to hand it to Ferguson, he may have the most convincing case of amnesia we have seen in years.
Welcome to the Red State…
