GOP Challenger for Ilhan Omar’s Congressional Seat is Wanted by Police
The Democratic members of the squad (Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib) are often targeted by Republicans. That includes Donald Trump who often brings them up during his speeches at rallies.
All this attention on the lawmakers has created GOP challengers keen on trying to take their congressional seats. Some of these potential opponents, though, are less than impressive. In fact, one potential challenger in Minnesota has a felony warrant out for her arrest.
The woman, Danielle Stella, has been arrested twice on charges of shoplifting from Target. She has failed to show up for multiple court dates.
Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office told The Daily Beast, “We can confirm that she does have an active felony theft warrant in Hennepin County.”
Stella was also known as a proponent of conspiracy theories like QAnon. In July of 2019, Twitter user Travis View asked Stella why she posted a picture of herself wearing a Q necklace.
Hi Danielle @2020MNCongress
Is it possible clarify whether or not you consider yourself affiliated with QAnon?
The "Q" necklace in your recent photo may stand for "Queen." But your use of the "WWG1WGA" hashtag, follows, and likes suggests a Q affiliation.

The potential candidate’s Twitter account also follows a number of prominent proponents of the QAnon theories.
Stella will have an uphill battle if she hopes to win Omar’s seat in Minnesota’s 5th District. Omar won her election in 2018 against Republican challenger, Jennifer Zielinski, by over 56%.
