Gomez Will Introduce Bill to Expel Greene Amid More Calls For Her Removal
Less than a week after he announced he was drawing up a resolution to oust “QAnon Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, Representative Jimmy Gomez now has more than 60 of his colleagues as co-signers on the bill to expel Greene that he plans to introduce on the House floor this week.
“We’re now up to 68 cosponsors,” Gomez tweeted on Tuesday. “Thank you to my colleagues who have signed on so far, and we’ve got more to come.”

Greene hasn’t backed down in the least, as she tweeted last week, continuing to share hateful messaging on her personal Twitter account while blocking anyone who dares challenge her. Even after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell made an unprecedented move by commenting on a freshman member of the GOP in Congress, Greene kept up the Mean Girl bravado with the “I’m better than the teacher” attitude.
Greene also posted a letter full of hateful propaganda and lies about Democrats on her personal Twitter from the Republican Party Chairs and Members of the 14th District of Georgia, which covers the Northwest region of the state.
Hill Reporter could not confirm the authenticity of the letter as no one was answering the phone at the Georgia GOP headquarters on Tuesday, and the voicemail box was full. But the use of hate speech in a letter to McCarthy speaks to the implosion of the party as its lack of morals has caused its own impending demise if they did indeed write it.
