GoFundMe Has Suspended Trump Favorite Candace Owens
Candace Owens, at one point in time, considered herself to be a liberal. That was before she became a major fan of Donald Trump. She has been able to ingratiate herself to the Trumps and is commonly retweeted by Donald Trump Jr and the President, himself. She was even called in front of Congress to talk about her feelings on white supremacy.
The Conservative pundit doesn’t pull punches in her videos which are often published on Facebook live. In a recent post, she blasted the recently deceased George Floyd calling him a bad human being. Those comments led to the site, GoFundMe to suspend her from the platform.
The site released a statement which read in part:
“GoFundMe has suspended the account associated with Candace Owens and the GoFundMe campaign has been removed because of a repeated pattern of inflammatory statements that spread hate, discrimination, intolerance and falsehoods against the black community at a time of profound national crisis. These actions violate our terms of service.”
In her Floyd post, Owens said, among other things, “We are being sold a lot of lies at the detriment to the black community, at the detriment to the white community and at the detriment to America as a whole. So, I want to come out and say that I do not support George Floyd and the media’s depiction of him as a martyr for black America.”
Owens tweeted about the ban and painted herself as the victim. “Once again, conservatives and Trump supporters need to adapt to a world that tells us that our very existence is unacceptable. That our ideas, thoughts, and now even our charitable efforts are unacceptable. That threatening, boycotting, and cancelling us is okay.”
