Rudy Giuliani has revealed that Michael Cohen has 183 recorded conversations and President Trump is on 11 or 12 of them. The President’s attorney dropped the bombshell during an interview on CBS this Sunday.
When Giuliani was asked how many times Trump appeared in materials that federal investigators seized from Micheal Cohen’s office, Giuliani commented, “Let me see if I can make it about as clear as possible. We know of something like 183 unique conversations on tape.” Giuliani continued, “One is with the President of the United States. That’s the three-minute one involving the payment to former playboy model Karen McDougal.” President Trump allegedly had an affair with the model.
The President’s attorney added, “ There are 12 others-maybe 11 or 12 others-out of the 183 in which the President is discussed at length by Cohen.” Giuliani declared that the tapes prove that his client’s tweets about his relationship with Cohen were factual.
The taped conversations were discovered by investigators in a Raid on the office of the President’s former lawyer. The raid on Cohen was part of an investigation into whether Cohen helped Trump pay off another affair with porn actress Stormy Daniels.
President Trump has long denied having any knowledge about payments made to McDougal and denies having an affair with her. Karen McDougal even claims that Trump tried to Pay her after sex.
The revelation of the tapes now raises the question of whether there is a tape of Michael Cohen and the President discussing the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels. The President has vehemently denied paying off the adult film star who alleges having an affair with Trump in 2006.
Daniels was allegedly paid the money through Michael Cohen before the end of the 2016 election.
