Since Gabby was living in New York and her boyfriend lived in London, they knew that it would not be easy to live miles apart. But that didn't stop them from seeing each other as they were determined to make it work.
They would plan long-distance dates and visit each other from time to time just to keep that spark. Things were perfect. Or so it seemed.
3. Funny Man
For Gabby being far apart is one of the hardest things, as they could not see each other as often as they wanted to.
But thankfully all of her worries went away thanks to her boyfriend who was full of humor that reminded her of his love and made her forget about the distance between them. He was so perfect.

After Gabby graduated from the University of South Carolina, her boyfriend wanted to congratulate her and visited her in the US to spend New Year’s Eve together.
The two were happy to be together that they partied at a bar. But thing’s started to change after it.

While the two were celebrating new years eve together they partied and drank the entire night.
However, Gabby partied a little too hard and got drunk. As a result, the seemingly perfect couple got into a heated argument.

Unknown to Gabby, her boyfriend had been deliberately plying her with drinks all night to get her drunk.
He obviously had a sinister plan in mind and this was made worse by the fact that she was completely clueless and still trusted him.

As Gabby kept on drinking, her boyfriend picked a fight with her, saying that she was being too scandalous at the bar and too drunk.
Because Gabby couldn't manage by herself anymore and couldn't call a cab, her boyfriend offered to call her a cab with her phone. She didn’t think twice before telling him the password to unlock her phone.
12. What’s the Passcode?
After calling the cab, he insisted on holding on to her phone. He argued that she might drop it somewhere if she was to handle the phone herself.
But that was not the only reason why her boyfriend asked for her phone. Gabby would find out the utterly shocking reason behind his actions later.
13. Keeping it Private
After spending New Year’s eve together, Gabby seemed to notice that her boyfriend kept untagging himself from their pictures posted online.
When she confronted him, he explained that he just wanted to keep their relationship private and away from gossip and online drama. Since Gabby was already introduced to her boyfriend's family and was their favorite, she shrugged her worries off and believed him.
14. Out of Curiosity
Gabby’s friends were so happy for her that her boyfriend flew all the way to the States to be with her. As they kept chatting, Gabby told her friends that she felt something had changed with her boyfriend after he repeatedly untagged himself on their photos.
They agreed it was suspicious. So her friends suggested using Followmeter to see who was skulking on her Instagram, as it was trending all over the net. But what Gabby found made her suspect her boyfriend more.

As Gabby was scrolling through the list of people who had her blocked on Followmeter, she saw a girl's name. What was strange was that she didn't know her or remember interacting with her.
To make matters worse, her account was private and she couldn’t remember doing it. So Gabby went to check her blocked lists and voila! She was there as well. This made her very curious.
16. When and where
So Gabby decided to do some more research. She used her friend’s account to look at the woman’s page. She kept thinking about how they knew each other.
Gabby was so confused about how this woman got blocked, because she didn’t remember doing it. Then she recalled that her boyfriend had used her phone on the night they went out to a bar. Her instincts were screaming, so Gabby confronted her boyfriend.
17. She’s Crazy!
As Gabby showed her boyfriend her phone with the woman’s picture, her boyfriend started to make up stories. At first, her boyfriend tried to deny switching her account to private, but Gabby saw how his eyes widened at first.
When he saw she wasn’t buying his story, he started telling her that he was trying to protect her. He also said that the woman was obsessed with him and crazy which made him block her on Gabby’s account.
18. Long Fight
The couple argued the whole night.
Gabby’s boyfriend kept insisting that the woman was trying to break them apart which made him do that to protect her. But Gabby wasn't buying it, she knew that there was more than what her boyfriend was saying.
19. Secret Trips
Furious and hurt, Gabby also found out that her boyfriend had been planning secret trips with other women.
Although he kept denying things, soon enough he admitted all his wrongdoing. Gabby felt her heart shattered as she also questioned herself where she went wrong.
20. Wanting to Confront
Heartbroken, Gabby was raging with anger as she threatened to message the woman and confront her. However, her boyfriend was able to convince Gabby that she would look crazy if she did such things.
Her boyfriend begged her for another chance and that he would never hurt her again. But things were only getting started for the couple.
21. Reconciliation
Gabby ended up forgiving her boyfriend. The two didn't break up and started to fix their issues together.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly as her boyfriend popped the question. Gabby said yes! But she couldn’t help but wonder if he had really changed.
22. Livin together
After their engagement, Gabby moved to England to be with her fiance as they prepared for their upcoming wedding.
But something still didn't seem right for Gabby. She was feeling anxious about their relationship.

As Halloween came by, Gabby heard rumors that her fiance was still messaging another girl even after their engagement.
Gabby asked her boyfriend if she could see his messages for her to be sure, since he had cheated on her in the past with the same woman. But her fiance didn't take it lightly.

Gabby’s fiance flipped out as soon as she brought up the topic.
He accused Gabby of being controlling and manipulative by using their past. He also said that she shouldn't touch his privacy and take away his freedom.

Gabby and her fiance continued to fight as she felt like he was hiding something from her and was cheating again.
In the end, Gabby warned her fiance that if she caught him cheating again, Gabby would leave him.
26. Haunted by the past
Gabby was still bothered after their fight. But she was still wasn't satisfied with what her fiance had told her.
A week after their fight, Gabby found out about her fiance’s old phone and unlock it. She could not believe what she saw in it. Her heart and soul was breaking.
27. Calling it Off
Sobbing, Gabby saw all her fiance's conversations with the woman.
He had started talking to her 3 days after she move in with him. After finding out that her fiance was hiding his phone and still cheating, Gabby called off the engagement and packed her things up.
28. Sayonara!
After calling the engagement off, Gabby’s ex-fiance slammed the door as she left him and went to a hotel.
After the incident, she never spoke to him again and he followed all the girls on social media that he had blocked after he was caught the first time. He started chatting with them again.
29. Back to Zero
With nothing left, Gabby flew back to New York in December and lived with her sister as she healed from the traumatic relationship she had.
While Gabby was figuring herself out being unemployed, with no savings and a back-up, she came up with a plan.

She turned to Tiktok and made herself a video diary of her healing process.
