Georgia Governor Accused Of Impending ‘Mass Murder’ Over Lifting COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has decided to lift his state’s COVID-19 public health protocols against the advice of all experts.

He has also taken the step to keep municipalities from imposing their own continued safety protocols.

Kemp will be allowing the re-opening of non-essential businesses such as hair and nail salons, gyms, and bowling alleys. Twitter lit Kemp up with his dangerous decision:

Kemp wants to reopen the state immediately, and as its executive, he can do so. However, there will be mass death, as Georgia is nowhere near flattening its curve or containing the virus. According to one tweet above, there are now 790 new cases of coronavirus in that state.

This is what it looks like when greed and money take precedence over people. Perhaps the backlash will make Kemp rethink what he is doing. I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one, though – there aren’t enough ventilators.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for updates.
