If January 6th proved anything, it showed that Donald Trump supporters are more than up for violence, and it doesn’t matter who they commit it against.
During this weekend’s rally in Houston, Trump went after two women running investigations against him; Fani Willis and Letitia James. He told his fans, “These prosecutors are vicious, horrible people. They’re racists, and they’re very sick. They’re mentally sick. They’re going after me without any protection of my rights by the Supreme Court or most other courts.”
Willis responded to Trump’s incitement by asking for the FBI to protect her. She wrote in the letter to Atlanta’s FBI Field office:
“We must work together to keep the public safe and ensure that we do not have a tragedy in Atlanta similar to what happened at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021. My staff and I will not be influenced or intimidated by anyone as this investigation moves forward.”
One week ago, The Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia granted Willis’ request to impanel a special grand jury in the investigation of Trump. The former president is undoubtedly feeling the heat from this investigation and the one being run out of New York.
