Kellyanne Conway’s husband, George Conway has been a known critic of President Trump. The Republican attorney has made a name for himself by constantly fact-checking and mocking the president every chance that he gets.
Yesterday, after the release of two Michael Cohen sentencing memorandums, as well as a Paul Manafort sentencing memorandum from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, President Trump made a tweet that left many people scratching their heads.
Totally clears the President. Thank you!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 7, 2018
The problem with this tweet is that this certainly does not appear to be the case. All three memos implicated President Trump in possible crimes, at least to some degree. In fact, the Michael Cohen sentencing memorandum filed by the Southern District of New York, actually alleges that Michael Cohen “acted in coordination and at the direction of individual-1”, when he committed two felony counts of campaign finance violations.
About an hour and fifteen minutes after Trump’s tweet, George Conway responded with a tweet of his own:
Except for that little part where the US Attorney’s Office says that you directed and coordinated with Cohen to commit two felonies. Other than that, totally scot-free. https://t.co/YXmgY9KmXi

Surely this tweet won’t make Trump happy, especially since it is coming directly from the husband of Kellyanne Conway.
