Fox’s Perino Says Biden Should Show Trump Some Gratitude For Vaccines
Donald Trump has politicized the COVID-19 pandemic since the beginning. He’s both downplayed the seriousness of the virus and refused to follow common sense measures that could have prevented the spread. He even ignored pleas from local governments and held rallies in areas with surging case loads.

But once a vaccine was developed, the president was quick to take credit. Luckily, it will be the Biden administration rather than the Trump administration that will be distributing the treatments. On Tuesday, Dana Perino said that when the president-elect does distribute the vaccine, he should show gratitude towards Trump.
The Fox News host told her audience, “Biden at his event that he was holding around the same time, announcing his health care team, basically says it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Now, for the next few weeks, that could be true, right? We’re seeing that, as you are saying. It’s very hard to stop the spread of this. We know the hospitals are under some strain.”
Perino continued:
“He also said — repeated that’s he’s going to ask people to do masking for 100 days, and he says in the first 100 days he’ll try to get 100 million Americans vaccinated. So he’s going to inherit this program. So you would think there could be a little grace and gratitude for this work, even if he doesn’t thank the president personally.”
