Fox’s Larry Kudlow Somehow Thinks The Texas Power Outages Are Joe Biden’s Fault

The power outages in Texas have been blamed on a number of different factors. Mayor Greg Abbott went on Fox News last week to blame the Green New Deal. Fingers have been also pointed at wind power, which produces up a very small portions of Texas’ energy.

The one factor that hasn’t been blamed is the incompetence of the GOP, which has been in control of the state for decades. Former Trump adviser Larry Kudlow may have taken this path of denial the furthest. On Sunday, Kudlow blamed President Joe Biden for Texas’ issues.

The adviser told Howard Kurtz, “I think they’ve moved very rapidly toward the progressive left position on a lot of these issues. He tried to temper it with talk about unity. There was some talk about moving to the center, that there would be more balance, there wouldn’t be a far-left progressive agenda.”

Kudlow continued, “Unfortunately in the early weeks — what, we’ve got a month here — it has been a left, progressive agenda. He’s gone after the energy sector. You saw some of the consequences in Texas. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.”
