Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Told Historian To Go ‘F–k Himself’ In Unaired Interview
A video recently surfaced showing a pretty heated exchange between Dutch historian Rutger Bregman and Fox News Host Tucker Carlson. In collaboration with NowThis, Bregman apparently released the video in which you can hear Carlson flipping out and cursing at the historian.
“You are a millionaire funded by billionaires, that’s what you are… You’re part of the problem,” Bregman can be heard saying.
This comment did not appear to sit so well with Carlson.
“Moron… I wanna say to you why don’t you go fuck yourself ― you tiny brain,” said Carson. “And I hope this gets picked up because you’re a moron. I tried to give you a hearing, but you were too fucking annoying.”
It seems the pre-recorded interview was eventually supposed to air on Carlson’s show. Bregman was originally invited to come on to address some heated comments he made at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Bregman spoke out against billionaires not paying their fair share of taxes.
Apparently, the interview was set to air on February 11th. Bregman says he later received an even more irate email from Carlson.
“I loved what you said at Davos, so I had high hopes for our interview. But you turned out to be far dumber, more dogmatic and less impressive than I expected. You’re [a] professional academic, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but it was still disappointing. Also, for what it’s worth, you’re an asshole.”
Bergman tweeted about the incident and included the video of the interview.
1/ Here’s the interview that @TuckerCarlson and Fox News didn’t want you to see. I chose to release it, because I think we should keep talking about the corrupting influence of money in politics. It also shows how angry elites can get if you do that. https://t.co/hs1474MJNM

Bregman concluded in a final tweet that he wished he quoted Noam Chomsky when decrying tax-avoiding billionaires.
